Dibs On Your Junk started in 2022 because the junk removal options in Polk County weren’t good enough. Franchises charged too much. Independent haulers didn’t show up. Nobody was doing the job the way it should be done: show up on time, give an honest price, do the work, and leave the space clean.
We set out to fix that. Starting in Winter Haven and working outward, we built the business one job at a time. A garage cleanout in Auburndale resulted in a referral to Lakeland. A rental turnover in Davenport prompted a property manager in Haines City to add us to their speed dial. That pattern repeated over and over across Polk County and into Tampa Bay.
Today we’ve completed over 1,000 jobs serving Winter Haven, Lakeland, Auburndale, Bartow, Davenport, Haines City, Lake Wales, Brandon, Plant City, Riverview, and surrounding communities. The reason is simple: we do what we say we’ll do, and people tell their neighbors.
Every job follows the same process. You call or request a quote. We schedule a time, often the same day. We show up, assess what needs to go, and provide a price on the spot. If it works for you, we get to work immediately. We load everything, haul it away, and sweep up before we leave.

Not everything goes to the landfill. We donate usable items to local organizations whenever possible, such as furniture, appliances, clothing, and household goods. Items that can’t be donated get sorted for recycling at local facilities.
What can’t be donated or recycled gets disposed of responsibly through approved facilities. We follow all local disposal guidelines and handle the sorting so you don’t have to think about it.
We don’t make this our entire identity, but it matters. Your old couch might end up in a home that needs it. Your scrap metal is recycled rather than buried. It’s the right way to do the job.
