What Happens to Items After the Cleanout
We sort at the truck before anything gets routed β every time.
Donation first β furniture and household items in good condition go to Habitat for Humanity ReStore or local Goodwill locations. If something can serve someone else, that’s where it goes before disposal is considered.
Certified appliance disposal β refrigerators, freezers, window AC units, and any appliance containing refrigerant is processed through certified disposal under EPA regulations.
Responsible disposal β everything that can’t be donated goes to a licensed transfer station for proper disposal. Metal and recyclable materials are separated where possible.
