Hazardous Materials

This is the biggest category of items that junk removal companies can’t take. Hazardous materials include paint and paint thinners, chemicals and solvents, pesticides and herbicides, motor oil and automotive fluids, propane tanks and compressed gas cylinders, asbestos-containing materials, and medical waste including needles and sharps.

Items With Refrigerants

Older air conditioning units, refrigerators, and freezers that still contain refrigerants need to have those chemicals properly recovered before disposal.
